Global Carbon Registry (GCR) is a pioneering organization based in London, UK, committed to revolutionizing carbon emissions reporting and management on a global scale. Our purpose is to provide a reliable platform for real-time emissions tracking, facilitating transparency and accountability in carbon credit trading. GCR is part of the GEM Group, Global Environmental Markets was founded in 2009 current CEO Wayne Sharpe. GEM’s registry system enables signatories to the Paris Agreement to trade credits under Article 6.2. GEM owns and operates Carbon Trade eXchange (CTX), an award winning, globally recognised Carbon exchange platform for voluntary carbon trading.
